jocardo, all grownzd up

Does Jocardo look happy or what?

Maybe it's because HE TURNED IN HIS THESIS YESTERDAY.

And the day before yesterday, his fifth graders performed the musical they've been rehearsing and working on with Jocardo.

When I stayed at Jocardo's house a few weeks ago, little topics like what we're doing with our lives came up and he'd say, 'I'll think about that after April 11th,' or 'Like I care until after April 11th.'

Welcome to April 12th, mi amor! And congratulations.

ps It's also possible that Jocardo looked happy in these photos because at the Apple store we learned it was the very last day of his iPod warranty and he was handed a brand new one free on the spot by a cute boy who Jocardo got to flirt with shame-less-ly.

'Do you think he could tell I was flirting with him?' he asked me. And my eyes rolled back in my head so far that I practically needed outpatient surgery to get them back in place.

GURL!!!!

I am SOOOO happy!!! I was up for almost 48 hours putting the finishing touches on what I hope is a passing CAP. I had rented a zipcar to take me, Missy and Chandler to drop it off in Da Bronx. We dropped and ran out to grab a bite to eat. We were all delirious from lack of sleep. I made it home and slept like the dead for 12 hours! It's now April 14th....what's next?

I thought he looked familiar...I know Jocardo Ralston. More specifically for his role as Jud Fry in Oklahoma! Small world.

Best,

oh my LORD. Jocardo/Jud what do you have to say for yourself? And TL, were you in Oklahoma, too? I need to build a mental picture here.

O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A!!!!That's me. I admit it, it was the beginning of my love of Theatre! It's what made me decide to major in Theatre in college. The funny story, I only tried out for the show because I was totally in love with this girl named Anne..AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN TRY OUT!!! Jud Fry was my debut with so much more to come after...you know..

Who is this kid, TL?

Why's he blowin' up my spot, Yo?

I was in Oklahoma as well; however, I was in seventh grade. Jocardo probably had no idea who I was. I played the part of Fred. I believe I had two lines. Smiles.
